Pleasure barge and gravell boat to be repaired immediately.
Solicitor to attend meeting at Fleece to settle matter between Company and successors of late Mr Knight.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held this 7^th day of May at the George Inn in Stroud
Present: Nathaniel Winchcombe, Henry Burgh, John Colborne, Thomas Arundell, John Hollings, Ben^n Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Committee Meeting.
Our Clerk Reported that he has settled with Jn^o Davis agreeable to the order of the last Committee Meeting.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Two hundred & forty seven pounds & Six Shillings for the use of the Navigation.
Ordered that the Pleasure Barge & also the Gravell Boat be repaired immediately.
Ordered that our Sollicitor do attend a Meeting proposed to be held at the Fleece for the purpose of Settling the matters in difference between the Company & the Successors of the late M^r Knight, & that such Evidence be produced as he may consider necessary to support the Conditions of the Arbitration on the part of the Company.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Monday the 4^th of June next on board the Companys Barge precisely at Nine O'Clock in the Morning.
