Repair of Double Lock completed. Mr Clowes to inspect and Mr Keck to be applied to for payment.
Clerk produced account of quantity of coals on wharfs of Thames & Severn Canal. Mr Chambers paid £216 9s 3d for tonnage.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Monday the 12^th of Octo^r 1789
Present: Nathaniel Winchcombe, John Allaway, John Hollings. Jos^h Grazebrook, Henry Burgh.
The Repairs of the Double Lock being now compleated, Ordered that our Clerk do attend on M^r Clews to desire that he will inspect and sign the Account, and that M^r Keck be applied to for payment of the same.
Our Clerk produced an Account of the Quantity of Coals upon the Respective Wharfs of the T S Canal and M^r Chambers attended and paid the Sum of Two Hundred & sixteen Pounds nine Shillings and threepence for Tonnage of the same.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of £176..12..7 for the use of the Navigation.
