At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Monday the 9^th of April 1792
Present: Nathaniel Winchcombe, John Allaway, John Hollings, Benj^n Grazebrook, Henry Burgh, Joseph Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk reported that he made out the Account of M^r Grazebrooks Barges as ordered at the last Meeting.
Rich^d Cam has paid his Rent according to the Order of the last Meeting. ~~ Ordered that a Bill for 115^£.. ^s..3^d be drawn upon the Treasurers.
Our Clerk reported that the Gates on the Towing Path from Walbridge to Framiload were lock'd on Monday the 19^th of March last and the three following dayds per Will^m Beard, Sam^l Beard, John Shaw, Tho^s Lewis.
M^r Henry Burgh attended on Behalf of the Rev^d Jos^h Colborne and made out his Claims to Seven Shares N^o 69, 70, 71, 156, 157, 142, 143 in the Stroudwater Navigation late the Property of his Father M^r Jn^o Colborne deceased by producing the Probate of the Will of the said John Colborne bearingdate of 2^nd of February 1791 and duly proved in the Perogative Cout of the Archbishop of Canterbury the 17^th of Mch 1792 by the said Jos^h Colborne as surviving Executor and he said Claim is herby admitted accordingly. Adjourn'd this Meeting to Tuesday the 10^th Ins^t at the George Inn in Stroud at eleven o Clock in the forenoon.
