At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee room at Walbridge on Tuesday the 26^th of June 1798
Present: Rev^d Will^m Ellis, Jos^k Gazebrooke, Nath^l Wathen, Ew^d Wood, Benj^m Grazebrooke, Nath^l Jones.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the order respecting the Boat House and the Shed at Tho^s Lewis House.
Our Clerk reported that the Court Orchard Lock was repaired agreeably to the Order of the last Meeting and that progress has been made with the other repairs before ordered.
Ordered that Weir Boards five Inches deep be placed at the Weir in Westfield Levell, during the remainder of the Season of Scarcity of Water as a means of preventing a waste of water at that Weir heretofore occasionally complained of.
Adjourned this Meeting to Tuesday the 7^th of Aug^t next at 5 o'Clock in the afternoon at the Committee room at Walbridge.
