Summary

Thomas Jones of Chalford to provide security for Nathan Driver.
Post of Treasurer vacant following death of Mr Wyatt. Mr Hawker to pay receipts directly into County of Gloucester Bank in Stroud.
Mr Wathen had obtained the Bill now before Parliament – Gloucester & Dean Forest Railway (Construction of Docks), to ascertain whether the interests of the company were interfered with in supplying the Dock to be made in Gloucester with water.
Jas Nurse’s application to rent Dock at Chippenham Platt refused.
Chas Hobbs accepted as tenant for the house at Stonehouse at £12 10s per annum.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Monday the 15ht day of February 1847
Present: M^r Jn^o H Warman, M^r Rich^d Marting, Will^m Fryer, G H A Beard, Dan Watts. Fred^k Eycott, Jn^o Holbrow, W^m Jn^o Wood, Geo Wathen Chairman.
M^r Hawker reported that he had written to M^r Thompson as desired.
M^r N Driver named M^r Tho^s Jones of Chalford as his Security and M^r Wathen was directed to draw up the Bond accordingly.
M^r N Driver reported that the Step ladder at the Dock has been repaired and that the four tons of Stone had been returned to M^r Davies.
Ordered that all Bills be collected against the next Committee Meeting.
M^r Hawker announced that in consequence of the death of M^r Wyatt the Office of Treasurer is become vacant.
Ordered that until our next General Half Yearly Meeting, M^r Hawker be desired to pay the several sums of money which may come into his possession to the County of Glocester Bank at Stroud to the Credit of this Company.
M^r Wathen reported that he had obtained the Bill now before Parliament entitled Gloucester and Dean Forest Railway (Construction of Docks) in order to ascertain if the interests of this Company were in any way interfered with as regards the supplying the Dock (intended to be made at Glocester) with Water.
Ordered that no further steps be taken in the matter except as to procuring the Bill as it passes through the House of Commons.
Ordered that Jn^o Burbidge be directed to attend the next Committee Meeting with reference to the Room at Framilode now let to Ja^s Nurse for the accommodation of Clubs.
Ja^s Nurse attended and stated he is desirous of renting the Dock at Chippenham Plat which application was declined.
M^r Cha^s Hobbs applied to rent the House at Stonehouse now occupied by Rob Thompson and at the same rent viz: £12..10 per annum and he was accepted as Tenant.
