The Minutes of the Committee of the 19th Inst State that M^r Cooper the Auditor there attended and stated that he had examined the Books and Vouchers and found _them_ correct But on referring to a book called the numerical Book containing Entries of the Numbers and amounts of the Tickets It appears to this Meeting that the same ought to have been compared with the Tickets themselves and marked as having been shown to him and appearing to have been entered in the Tonnage Book But that there are many Tickets not so marked or checked by the Auditor both in the last and the previous half year.
Ordered that the Auditor be requested to attend and check the Book with the Tickets and to report thereon stating the time up to which the Tickets have been so checked and to be more attentive to that part of his duty in future.
