At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 8th day of September 1852
Present: M^r J H Warman, M^r Rich^d Martin Chairman, G H A Beard, C H Fisher, T C Croome, Will^m Fryer, H Harris.
M^r Samual Clutterbuck of Chalford in the Country of Glocester attended as Executor of the late Samuel Clutterbuck of Dudbridge in the parish of Stonehouse in the County of Glocester Gentleman deceased and made out his claim as Executor to the said Samuel Clutterbuck deceased to three Shares N^os 36, 126 & 106 of the Undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation lately belonging to and now standing in the name of the said Samuel Clutterbuck in the books of the Company of Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation by producing the Probate of the Will of the said Samuel Clutterbuck deceased bearing date the 25th day of May 1849 whereby he appointed the said Samuel Clutterbuck of Chalford Executor of the said Will which was duly proved by the said Samuel Clutterbuck of Chalford in the Prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury on the 10th day of July 1852 and also producing the Tickets or Titles to the said Shares and the Claim was admitted accordingly.
M^r Samuel Clutterbuck also attended on behalf of Elizabeth Mary Jones of Camberwell in the County of Surrey Spinster and made out her Claim as Legatee under the Will of the late Samuel Clutterbuck of Dudbridge in the parish of Stonehouse in the County of Glocester deceased to one Share N^o 20 of the Undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation lately belonging to and now standing in the name of the said Samuel Clutterbuck deceased, in the books of the Company of Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation by producing the Probate of the Will of the said Samuel Clutterbuck deceased bearing the date of 25th day of May 1849 whereby he appointed the said Samuel Clutterbuck Executor of the said Will which was duly proved by the said Samuel Clutterbuck in the Prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury on the 10th day of July1852 and also producing the Ticket or Title to the said Share and the Claim was admitted accordingly with the assent of the said Samuel Clutterbuck the Executor.
M^r William Clement Cruttwell of Frome in the County of Somerset Solicitor attended on behalf of himself, John Wilson of Throgmorton Street in the City of London Stock Broker and Charles James Cruttwell of Lincoln's Inn in the County of Middlesex Barrister at Law as Executors named and appointed by the Will of Francis John Smith Wilson late of Widcombe Crescent in the City of Bath Esquire deceased and made out their claim as Executors to the said Francis John Smith Wilson deceased to Two Shares N^os 166 & 167 of the Undertaking of the Stroudwater Navigation belonging to and now standing in the name of the said Francis John Smith Wilson in the books of the Company of Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation by producing the Probate of the Will of the said Francis John Smith Wilson deceased bearing date the 7th day of June 1849 whereby he appointed the said John Wilson, Charles James Cruttwell and Wilson Clement Cruttwell Executors of the said Will which was duly proved by the said John Wilson, James Clutterwell and Wilson Clement Clutterwell in the Prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury on the 2nd day of July 1852 and also by producing the Tickets or Titles to the said Shares and the said Claim was admitted accordingly.
Ordered that the Tonnage on Road Stone delivered at Wallbridge be charged at Tenpence per Ton.
Ordered that the usual Half Yearly Meeting take place on Tuesday the 19th October at 2 O'Clock and that the Monthly Meeting of the Committee for October do take place at 1 O'Clock on that day.
