At a Special General Meeting of the Company of Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 3^d day of March 1863 to take into consideration the subject of the proposed Line of Railway from Stonehouse to Nailsworth and for general business
Present: M^r H H Wilton, M^r H Harris, J H Warman, C Hawker, F Eycott, E C Little Chairman, T M Croome, C H Fisher.
Resolved that this Meeting be adjourned to Monday the 9^th Instant at 1 o'Clock and that notice of such adjournment be advertised in the Gloucester Journal & Chronicle & Stroud Journal and that a Circular be sent to all the Shareholders informing them of the proposed Meeting and the subject to be discussed and requesting their attendance.
Resolved that in future all Meetings of the Company be advertised in the Gloucester Journal & Chronicle and the Stroud Journal and that a Circular be sent to the Shareholders informing them thereof.
Resolved that a letter be written to the Secretary of the Great Western Railway Company requesting leave to state definitively whether that Company will give any & what support to the opposition by this Company.
