Subcommittee reported that width of canal under the bridge was to be 22ft, towing path 6ft, with the bottom of canal uniform depth of 6ft under the bridge and for 70ft on each side of the same.

At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on Saturday the 25^th day of May 1864 to take into consideration the rates of Tonnage and also for general business
Present: M^r J H Warman, M^r J^h T Fisher Jr Chairman, T M Croome, C H Fisher, G H A Beard, C Hawker.
The Sub-Committee appointed at the last Meeting reported that they had met the Railway Engineer and Sub-Contractor as to the intended Bridge over the Canal at Stonehouse and arranged with them as to the width of the Canal and the Towing path, viz Canal twenty tow feet and Towing path six feet provided the bottom of the Canal be made of one uniform depth of six feet under the Bridge and for seventy feet on each side of the same.
The question of Tonnages was discussed pursuant to the notice given.
Resolved that Tonnages from this day shall be as follows:
Junction & Framilode: 1^d per Ton.
Walkbridge: 3^d per Ton.
Bristol Road: 7^d per Ton.
Chip Plat & Eastington: 8^d per Ton.
Bonds Mill Hills Mill & Stonehouse: 9^d per Ton.
Ryeford: 11^d per Ton.
Ebley Dudbridge Gas Works: 1^s/ per Ton.
Lodgemore & Fromehall: 1^s/ per Ton.
Ordered that the following Bills be paid: £ s d
