Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 21^st February 1888 @ 3,o,clock pm
Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr C H Hooper, Mr E P Little, Mr H H Mills, Sir W H Marling Bart.
[55] Permission was given to the Post Office Authorities to place a Wall letter box in the wharf wall at Wallbridge.
[7] The Clerk was directed to purchase some Elm timber at a cost of about £10.
[54] A Copy of the new Railway and Canal traffic bill as introduced into the House of Lords was placed before the Committee.
[2] The proposed draft agreement with the Stroud Water Company, with Counsel's opinion taken by such Company at the foot of it was discussed and Mr Hamilton Mills was instructed to communicate with the Solicitors of the Company and to make some arrangement with him that would adequately protect the interests of the Canal Company.
[44] A letter from Mr Waddy to Mr Hamilton Mills respecting the Board of Trade report on the Thames & Severn Canal was read, and the latter was requested to reply to it.
