Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 17^th July @ 3,o,clock pm 1888
Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H H Mills, Mr G H A Beard, Mr C H Hooper, Mr W J Stanton, Mr E P Little, Mr W^m Davies junr, Sir W H Marling Bart (late).
[44] The inspection of the Thames & Severn Canal and the way in which the G W Railway authorities should be approached with a view of entering into negotiations with them for the purchase of the Canal formed the principal. of discussion and Mr Hamilton Mills was requested to communicated with them and arrange an interview.
[7] The Clerk reported the illness of Charles Saunders the Cos man at Framilode and the necessity for employing a substitute, and report at the next Meeting.
