Chairman, Sir W H Marling and Mr Hamilton Mills viewed land at Dudbridge wharf proposed to be sold off and roadway enclosed by Mr Barnard leading to his house. Mr Mills to see Mr Barnard and make best terms for sale. Sale of part of wharf should be carried out.
Clerk to write to County Surveyor respecting catch pits to be put in near Ship Inn at Stonehouse and at Ebley.
Death of Mr Peyton 8 September. Our Clerk, jointly with Gloucester and Berkeley Canal Co. Considering serious falling off of traffic on canal payment to new Clerk should be reduced to 10s per week.

[F^o 71] The Chairman stated that he had with Sir W Marling & Mr Hamilton Mills viewed the land at Dudbridge wharf proposed to be sold off and also the roadway enclosed by Mr Barnard leading to his house but belonging to this Co. They advised that Mr Mills should see Mr Barnard & make the best terms he could with him for sale either in whole or in par of such roadway, subject to which they also advised that he suggested sale of part of the wharf should be carried out.
[F^o 71] The seal of the Co was attached to the Tenancy agreement with Mrs Daniels of the Cottage near the Double Locks.
The Clerk was directed to write to the County Surveyor respecting the catch pits which he promised should be put in at the Ship Inn at Stonehouse & at Ebley, but which has not been done.
The death of Mr Peyton Sept 8^th 1890 our Clerk (jointly with the Gloucester & Berkeley Canal Co) at the Junction was reported & some correspondence read from the Gloucester & Berkley Canal Co as to his successor, when it was resolved that in future considering the serious falling off of the Traffic on this Canal the payment to the new Clerk should be reduced to 10/- per week.
