Revised list of tolls submitted to meeting.
Clerk to fill in postcards received from promoters of proposed railway from Stroud to Painswick, as “dissenting from it”.
Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 18^th day of December 1894 @ 3,o,clock pm
Present: Mr E C Little Chairman, Mr H Hamilton Mills Solicitor, Mr C H Hooper, Mr E P Little, Mr A B Hooper, Sir W H Marling Bart, Mr W^m Davies, Mr W J Stanton.
The Chairman reported to the Meeting the interview he had had with Sir W H Marling, Mr Hooper and Mr Hamilton Mills on the subject of the necessary petition to Parliament upon lodging the proposed Bill of Thames and Severn Canal, whereupon it was resolved that the Seal of the Company be affixed to such petition, and such Seal was accordingly duly affixed to ti.
The revised list of Tolls was submitted to the Meeting and being approved of was ordered to be printed and put up in the Company's Toll offices.
The bill of expenses attending to the inspection of the Thames & Severn Canal was directed to be sent to Mr Waddy in Gloucester.
The Clerk was instructed to fill in the post cards received from the promoters of the proposed railway from Stroud to Painswick as "dissenting from it".
The Schedule setting forth the increase of tolls was ordered to be advertised in some newspaper in compliance with the act.
