Surveyor of Stroud Urban District Council had received orders to do necessary repairs to Wallbridge Wharf.
Rural District Council paid 1s outstanding.
J K Potter paid 18s 1d of arrear rent but £3 11s 11d still due.
Mr Turier of Cheltenham had written about undertaking survey and repair of Company’s weighing machines.
Amended draft of proposed new byelaws to be completed by Mr Whittingham. Sub-committee to settle final terms.
[1905 March] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Tuesday the 21^st March 1905 @ 3' o'clock pm
Present: Mr C H Hooper Chairman, Mr P J Evans, Sir W H Marling Bart, Mr E P Little, Mr F A Little. Mr. Whittingham, Solicitor in attendance.
[Repairs to Wallbridge Wharf] The Clerk reported that he had learned that the Surveyor of the Stroud Urban District Council had received orders to do the necessary repairs to Wallbridge Wharf.
[Rural District Council 1^s/-] That the Rural District Council had paid to him the 1^s/- due last June for the easement at Dudbridge,
[J Potter Rent.] and that J Potter had now paid 18/1 of his arrear Rent leaving £3..11..11 yet due.
[Mr Turier re Weighbridges] Mr Turier of Cheltenham had written in reference to his undertaking the survey and repair of the Company's weighing machines. He has the charge of other machines in the district. It was decided to invite him to call, and, if possible, meet the Chairman.
[Bye-laws.] The Committee gave their attention to the principal details of the proposed new Bye-laws. - the draft of which had been already separately criticised by the Members. It was arranged that this draft as amended, with certain minor variations, (chiefly verbal) should be completed by Mr Whittingham and then returned to Mr. Snape for his review with the Chairman, who, with Sir W H Marling Bart, and Mr F A Little should act as a Sub-Committee to settle its final terms in view of submitting them to the Board of Trade - and giving proper notice prior to the Half Yearly Meeting on the 25^th April ensuing.
[Committee Meeting. 25^th day of April, Half Yearly Meeting same day] Ordered that the next Committee Meeting be held on Tuesday the 25^th day of April @ 3' o'clock p.m. and the Half-Yearly Meeting on the same day at 3.30 p.m.
