Committee Meting held at Walbridge on Wednesday the 18^th day of March 1936 @4 o'clock pm
Present: Stanley Marling W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper, Marcus Stewart.
Only four Members of the Committee being present there was no quorum, but there being some matters requiring urgent attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Bill posting Company, Walls at Wallbridge and Dudbridge
The Committee decided to allow 10/- off the rent next payable on June next.
Carpenters Shop at Eastington
M^r Hooper stated that he had inspected and approved the work done.
Stonehouse Wharf Fencing
A letter and plan from the L M S Railway Coy were discussed and the plan approved. The Chairman undertook to settle a letter for the Clerk to send to the Railway Coy. The Clerk to meet the Railway Company's Agent on the spot before the erection of the fence is commenced.
West Gloucester Power Company
The Clerk was authorized to sign the Agreement with the power C^oy for wayleaves at Framilode.
Board of Trade Production Act
Nothing to report.
Gas works Bridge: Renewal
The Chairman read a letter which the Clerk had sent to the Stroud Urban District Council.
Marling & Evans: Towing path at Ebley Mills
After consideration of the old Agreement between the Company and Messrs. Marling & discussion it was decided that the Navigation were not liable in any way to maintain the towing path to the the Ebley Mills in such a way as to provide a roadway into the Mills and that it had only been used in the past by permission and strictly the Millowners had no right to take carts or lorries along it.
