Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 30^th day of September 1936 @ 4. o,clock pm
Present: W. R. Bloxham, Henry R. Hooper, R. J. C. Little, Stanley Marling.
There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee
Gas Works Bridge Repair
The Committee directed that this bridge shall be closed for repairs from one o'clock pm on Saturday the 10^th October until six o'clock pm on Wednesday the 14^th October or for such further time as may be required for the completion of the said repairs. Stonehouse and Dudbridge Wharves M^r Baker

Chancery Lane Safe Deposit & Offices C^o. Ltd
The Chairman stated that in accordance with Resolution of last Meeting £700:- had been placed to the credit of the Company's DepositA/c with the Cancert Lane Safe Deposit and Offices Company Ltd London.
Framilode Pound
The Clerk reported that the weeding of the Framilode pound was nearing completion.
River Severn Catchment Board Framilode
It was reported that the Board had raised a retaining wall against the River Frome at the rear of the Company's cottages at Framilode.
The Clerk was authorised to pay Messrs Badham and Coy's account £1..9..6 for back flaps for drains to the River from the cottages.
Birmingham Aluminium Casting (1903) C^o Ltd
Correspondence was read respecting the use of the Basin at Framilode for the launching of Motor Boats but it appeared unlikely to lead to anything.
Dudbridge Wharf, M^r Vines
The Committee directed that the Company's Solicitors be asked to communicate with M^r Vines respecting rent due from him amounting to £7..10..0.
Stonehouse Ocean Swing Bridge, M^r Malpass
A letter from the London Midland Scottish Railway C^oy stating their haulier M^r Malpass accepted all responsibility as far as their Company was concerned was read and the Committee directed that M^r Malpass be written to respecting damage done by his Motor Lorry on the 28^th July last and to request him to forward a Cheque £17..1..9 being the amount of the cost to the Company of carrying out the repair of the damage.
Severn and Canal Carrying C^o
The Clerk reported that the Carrying Company had carried out, on the 19^th September, an experimental voyage, with a power boat, up the Canal from the Junction and that they had written to say that unless the Canal Company can do something practical they are afraid there is little use in their wasting further time on prospective traffic, and enquiring whether the Company are likely to carry out any dredging or weed cutting and had suggested that possibly the Company may think it worthwhile appointing a sub-Committee to meet them so that the prospects of traffic resulting from expenditure on the waterway can be fully examined.
The Committee decided that nothing could be done.
Messrs Marling & Evans Ltd.
The Clerk reported that Messrs Marling & Evans had agreed to pay £2..10..0 a quarter for the use of the towing path to their coal yard from the Swing Bridge at Ebley Mills and had paid to the 24^th June last.
Whitminster Wharf.
Notice to quit had been received from M^r Spiers the tenant on the 25^th December next and this was accepted. The Clerk, was directed to obtain a Notice Board "To Let" and have it erected on the premises.
Framilode Pound M^r Estop
M^r Estop was granted permission to have a canoe on the Framilode Pound on payment in advance of 10/6 a year - no locks to be used.
