Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 21^st day of October @ 4 o'clock pm
Present: W. R. Bloxham, Henry R Hooker, R. J. C. Little.
There being only three Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Gas Works Bridge Repair
The Clerk reported that the repairs had been carried out.
Framilode Pound Weeding
The Clerk reported that the weeding in this pound had been completed.
Dudbridge Wharf. M^r Vines
The Committee directed that the Company's Solicitors write M^r Vines threatening proceedings, no reply having been received to their previous letter.
Severn and Canal Carrying Company
The Clerk was directed to write to the Carrying Company that the Navigation has no money to carry out the work necessary.
Whitminster Wharf Bristol Road
The Clerk produced M^r Apperley's estimate for 17/6 for a "To Let" Notice Board after discussion it was decided to alter it to " To be Let or Sold" and to accept Mr Apperely's offer.
Oils Mills Bridge at Ebley, Road Surface repairs
A letter from M^r A Smith was read and the Committee directed the Clerk to obtain an estimate from M^r Hopson for material required for the repair.
Wallbridge Office, Coal and Wood Shed
It was reported that the roof of the coal and wood shed needs repair, the Clerk was directed to obtain an estimate from M^r Hopson.
Stonehouse Ocean Swing Bridge, M^r Malpass
A letter from M^r Malpass was read, after discussion the Committee directed that a letter be written to the London Midland and Scottish Railway Company.
Dock House, Eastington
A letter from the tenant of the Dock House was read asking for a drain to be cleared. It was decided that a 3" glazed pipe drain be inserted.
