Mr Wathan has given notice to quit property at Framilode. Mr Meadows to take over as tenant on 25 March at rent of £8 p.a.
Severn Catchment Board granted permission to erect tide gauges at Framilode Lock.
Clerk instructed to inspect grate in sitting room of Eastington Dock House, and undertake other repairs considered necessary.
Clerk to arrange closing of towing path to the public.
A letter from M^r Fry was read thanking the Committee for the permission granted.
Property at Framilode, M^r Wathan
Notice to quit had been received from M^r Wathan and the Committee accepted M^r Meadows as tenant @ £8 a year rent from the 25^th March next subject to his signing the Company's Agreement and paying the costs of the same.
Lock Gates, Dudbridge Foundry Lock
The Clerk reported that certain repairs had been carried out to the heels of the bottom gates at the Foundry Lock at Dudbridge.
Property at Whitminster Wharf, Tenancy
After discussion the Committee decided to accept Mr Davis as tenant of the Wharf House at Whitminster @ £20 per year rent subject to his signing the Company's Agreement and paying the costs of same.
Severn Catchment Board
The Committee decided to grant permission to the Board to erect tide gauges at the Framilode Lock in accordance with request received from the Board.
Eastington Dock House
A letter from M^r Shill was read and the Clerk was instructed to inspect the grate in the sitting room, the other repairs were left to Mr Hooper and the Clerk.
Canal Towing Path
The Clerk was instructed to arrange for the closing of the Towing Path to the public at an early date.
