There being only three Members of the Committee present there was no quorum, but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Rents unpaid, M^r Palmer
The Clerk reported that M^r Palmer had paid £1..13..4 for the month to 29^th October on account of quarters rent, £5 due 19^th September in advance.
West Gloucestershire Power Company re Easements of Poles and Wires at Dudbridge
The Clerk reported that the Agreement with the Power Company had been completed.
Canal at Whitminster, M^r Parker's field
A letter from Messrs Langley Smith & Son of Gloucester was read, after discussion it was left to the Chairman to answer.
Canal Association, Letter re control of Canals in Emergency: Association draft letter to the Ministry of Transport
A reply had been sent in the terms of Minute of last Meeting.
The Copeland Chatterson Company Ltd
The Chairman stated that The Copeland Chatterson Company Ltd had agreed to the Navigations purchace price, £10 for the land at Dudbridge. The Navigations Solicitors had prepared an Agreement produced, and signed by the Chairman, Mr H R Hooper, Major R J Caruthers-Little and the Clerk.
Lloyds Bank Ltd Stroud re Balance Sheet
The Clerk was instructed to get a copy from M^r Dudbridge and send it to the Manager of Lloyds Banks, Stroud.
Letter from the Divisional County Surveyor re discharge of water in the Canal at Stonehouse
The Committee directed the Clerk to meet Mr Cooke on the spot.
