[1939 Nov^r] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 15^th day of November 1939 @ 3 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper, G A Evans, R J C Littel.
There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no Quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Gashouse Bridge Replacement: Stroud Gad Company
In accordance with Minute of last Meeting a letter had been sent the Gas Company, they had not replied. The Clerk had seen the Manager and reported his interview with him. After discussion the Chairman undertook to settle a letter to be sent to the Gas Company.
Stroud Urban District Council, Gashouse Bridge Replacement
The Committee directed the Clerk to give notice to the Council stating that it was the Navigations intention to replace the Bridge in the Spring. The Chairman undertook to settle the letter.
Canal Property at Framilode: Meadows Cottage grate in sitting room, Garden gate
It was decided to accept Mr Blakemore's estimate of £3..7..6 for a new grate,
It was reported that Meadows had not yet repaired the garden gate.
Severn and Canal Carrying Company, Canal Trade
A letter from the Carrying Company enquiring charges for carriage of paper etc from the Junction to Stonehouse was read and the Clerk reported that he had quoted the Company's toll of 7^d per ton.

Letter from the Company were read and discussed.
Ministry of Transport: Materials
A letter which the Navigation had sent to the Ministry setting out as far as possible the future requirements was read.
