Mrs Skipton had sublet to an old iron dealer. Committee directed that she must get rid of undertenant as soon as possible.

There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Bristol Road Bridge, Damage
It was reported that the repair of the bridge wall had been carried out, and the waterway cleared of debris. Twenty six ingots of aluminium had been recovered from the waterway which M^r Hopson had brought to his warehouse at Wallbridge. The Insurance Company had been notified.
Dudbridge Wharf, J & H B Jackson Ltd, Tenancy
A letter was read from Messrs Jackson. The Clerk was instructed to write to Messrs Jackson that the Navigation will try to find a tenant and report.
Dudbridge Wharfhouse, Mrs Shipton
It was reported that Mrs Shipton had sub-let part of the premises, to an old iron dealer, contrary to the terms of her Agreement with the Company. The Committee directed that she be informed that her undertenant must be got rid of at the earliest possible moment.
Bristol Road Bridge, M^r Henry Collingwood
A letter was read from M^r Collingwood. The Chairman undertook to settle a reply.
Gashouse Bridge, Messrs Mowlem & Co Ltd
The Clerk reported that he had that morning seem Messrs Mowlem's Agent at his Office at Aston Down when it was agreed that an appointment be arranged to meet on the spot.
Stroud R D Council. Overflow water at Stonehouse
The Clerk reported that he had met the Surveyor at Stonehouse. After discussion the Committee directed the Clerk to see the Surveyor.
Blunder Lock War Damage
The Clerk reported that an item £160..15..8 had been separately set out by the Auditor in the Company's Accounts for the Half Year ending December 1940 as the total cost of the repair of the damage due to enemy action.
Fire Watching at Eastington, Shed, Letter from the Ministry
The Clerk reported that he had informed the Ministry that a firewatcher had been appointed to patrol the district, that the public Authority is Gloucester R D Council.
Canal Defence (Advisory) Committee South-Western Region
The Committee directed the Clerk to attend the Committee called for the 29^th May at Gloucester.
War Department, Blockhouses on Canal property at Eastington and Whitminster
The Committee fixed a rent of £1..0..0 in each case, and the Clerk was directed to complete and return the forms accordingly.
