Mrs White vacated Eastington Lock House 11 July.
[1941 July] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 22^nd day of July @ 3 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam, Henry R Hooper, G W Morton Ball, R J C Little.
There being only four Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Gashouse Bridge and Canal Bank, Damage, Messrs Mowlem & Company
A letter was read from Messrs Mowlem. The Committee directed that the Clerk to have the repairs carried out. The Chairman undertook to settle a letter to be sent to Messrs Mowlem.
Wallbridge Wharf, Trespass, M^r Hopson
It appeared that the County Council had instructed M^r Hopson to erect a wall next the Lock at Wallbridge. M^R Hopson had commenced the work.
Canal at Eastington, Lockkeeper
The Clerk reported that Mrs White left the Lockhouse on the 11^th July, that Miss White had handed over the key, and she had been paid £1..0..0 respecting the lean-to shed for which she had signed a receipt, & the key had been sent to C Smith, the new Lock-keeper.
Stroud Water Board, Pipe in Towing Path at Stonehouse
