Letter to clerk of Stoud Urban District Council re rental for requisitioned Dudbridge Wharf.
Letter and plan received from Captain Teesdale re trees at Whitminster. Trees not standing on canal property.

The Minutes of the last Meeting were read and confirmed.
Swing Bridges, Repairs
Reported that Mr Hopson had obtained the necessary certificate to purchase timber required and that he had placed an order with the Ryeford Saw Mills Company.
Dudbridge Wharf Requisition
The Committee directed that a letter be written to the Clerk of the Stroud Urban District Council equiring when the Company may expect to receive the rent for this Wharf which had been requisitioned by his Council.
Canal Bridge at Whitminster, Trees
The Chairman read a letter form the Solicitors for Captain J M Teesdale and produced a plan which showed the growing trees on the off bank of the Canal between the Walk Bridge and the Junction. It appears that the trees are not standing on Canal property.
Canal, Mr J R Morton Balls letter
Mr Ball's letter of the 27^th October 1942 was read and discussed.
Canal at Framilode, Stop Gate
In accordance with Minute of last Meeting a letter had been written to the Ministry of Transport respecting the Stop Gate at Framilode. Nor reply has been received.
Wharfhouse at Stonehouse, Mr G Palmer Tenant
The Clerk reported that M^r Palmer was in arrears with the payment of his rent amounting to £7.10..0. The Committee directed that a letter be written to him calling his attention to the arrears in rent owing by him and to ask for an immediate remittance, to inform him that as he held the premises under a written agreement there was not need for a rent book. The Clerk was instructed to return the rent book which M^r Palmer had left at the Wallbridge Office.
Canal at Dudbridge, Lockkeeper Wigall's report
Lockkeeper Wiggall reported damage to the Navigations property at Dudbridge by users of the towing path. After discussion the Committee left it to the Chairmans discretion whether a notice should be exhibited stating the towing path is private. With reference to the deposit of soot on the Wharf at Dudbridge the Clerk would see the Towns Surveyor.

Canal at Whitminster, RAF
The Committee expressed considerable surprise that no reply had been received to the Company's letters of the 6^th and 19^th April last particularly having regard to the fact that boats are beginning to arrive in the canal. The Committee directed that a letter be written to Flight L^t Fox asking for a definite reply as soon as possible. The Chairman to settle the letter.
