At a Special Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Walbridge on Tuesday the 7^th day of September 1841
Present; M^r S Fisher. M^r Croome, M^r Jos^h Fisher, M^r Wyatt, M^r P H Fisher, Geo Wathen, M^r Hughes.
Resolved that William Musty be appointed to the Situation of Lock Keeper and jobbing as a Mason to reside at the Double Lock in the Place of Thomas Barnfield deceased to commence on and from the sixth day of September instant at the Wages of fifteen shillings per Week exclusive of the Occupation of the Dwelling house.
Ordered that Elisha Oldenham be permitted to rent such Part of Stonehouse Wharf as shall be set out for him by M^r Mason he paying forty Pounds per Annum for the same providing the said Elisha Oldenham will take the same for two years at the least from its Commencement.
