Mr Hawker to permit Hooper, lock keeper at Dudbridge, to receive tonnage on all vessels coming up Navigation and going into T&S Canal.
Mr Jas Smith’s claim for drawback of eight shillings allowed.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the Committee Room at Wallbridge on friday the 20th day of October 1843
Present: [IN time 3/ & 2/6] M^r Jn^o Holbrow Chairman, G H A Beard, W^m Coham, T C Croome, Sam Fisher, P H Fisher, J F Fisher, Geo Wathen, Hen Wyatt, Rob Hughes.
Ordered that M^r Hawker be authorised to permit Hooper our Lock Keeper at Dudbridge to receive the tonnage upon all vessels coming up this Navigation and going into the Thames and Severn Canal and that Hooper the Wharfinger be directed to pay the tonnage every night that such tonnage shall be received, into this Office.
Order^d that M^r Jas Smiths claim for drawback of eight Shillings be allowed by the Clerk, but that he is informed that the Committee will not interfere in any future claim for a Drawback unless applied for in time.
