[1928 Jany] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 25^th day of January 1928 @ 3 o'clock pm
Present: Jack Margetson, W R Bloxam, R J C Little, S S Marling, Edward P Little.
The Minutes of the Meeting of the 16^th November 1927 were approved and confirmed.
As there was no quorum at the Meeting of the 21^st December 1927 a Resolution was passed approving and confirming the action taken.
Lock Gates at Didbridge
The Clerk was instructed to obtain the necessary Oak scantling for the new heads.
Messrs The Ryeford Saw Mills C^os estimate of £3..15..0, was accepted.
Withy bed at the Junction
In accordance with Minute of last Meeting a letter had been written to Mr Apperley. No reply had been received.
Thames & Severn Canal - Abandonment
It was reported that the balance at Lloyd's Bank Ltd, Stroud, on the Thames & Severn Canal Special account stood at £268..6..1.
The Clerk was instructed to make every effort to get in the outstanding contributions.
The Clerk was authorized to pay George Cook the bonus, £3, for three months ending December 1927.
The Committee agreed to recommend the re-appointment of M^r F A Little and M^r G A Evans to the Committee, their membership having lapsed.
It was mentioned that no dividend for the half year ended 30^th June 1927 had been paid by the London & North Eastern Railway C^o on their 2^nd Preference Stock.
