Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 15^th day of May 1929 @ 3 o'clock pm

Thames and Severn Canal
It was reported that £43..9..6 was standing to the credit of the Thames and Severn Canal Special A/c.
II £250..- was still to go to the County Council towards the £550 the Company had promised to try and collect for the year ended 31^st March 1929.
Thames & Severn Canal: Financial Assistance 1929/30
The Sharpness New Docks C^o had written stating that it did not see its way to make any contribution for the year ending March 31 1930.
Wallbridge Wharf
The Clerk reported that M^r Lambert had paid the Wharfage charge £1..19..3.
A letter was read from M^r S Smith in respect to Wharfage charges. The Clerk was instructed to inform M^r Smith that under the special circumstances the Committee is prepared to charge 1/- per ton instead of the usual rate of 1/7.
De-Rating: Wheatenhurst R D C
The Notice of rejection of the claim of the Company for insertion of properties in draft Special List was considered and the Clerk was instructed to inform the Clerk of the Assessment Committee that the Company desired to lodge an objection to the rejection of its claim in respect of the following:-
No 227 House at Eastington (Lock-house)
No 436 Docks at Eastington (Company's Depôt)
No 245 House at Framilode (Lock-house)
M^r Bloxam undertook to draft a letter to the Clerk to send to the Assessment Committee.
Stroud Gas Company
The Clerk was instructed to inform the Gas Company that the Company is prepared to grant permission to attach its main to the outside of Dudbridge Bridge subject to the payment of the annual sum of £2..- and to the work being carried out to the satisfaction of the Company, all expenses in connection herewith and of the preparation and completion of the necessary Agreement being borne by the Gas Company.
Mr Bloxam undertook to draft a letter for the Clerk to send to the Company.
