Swing Bridge at Framilode under repair. Ask your man not to take his heavy lorry over the bridge Company liable to provide a bridge necessary to carry traffic normal at time canal was constructed. He does not quite appreciate the position
Stroud Metal Co. Water Supply. Re your letter 6 November enclosing drawing of proposed scheme. Permanent Pumping Station on Navigation land. Company can have all the water they need by gravitation without expense of a pumping station.

Re Ash Tree fallen across our property and not removed. Obstructs intake and our sluices and weir on river. Culvert under canal will be blocked and cause flooding. You will be responsible. Other trees next to our works at Lodgemore may fall and cause further damage to our property.
