Better offer received to rent Stonehouse Wharf House. Clerk to inform Mr O H Cook. Windows and doors required repainting. Other outside repairs and interior decoration needed.
Mr Baker accepted as tenant of portion of Stonehouse wharf beyond stable at £10 p.a.
Work a Framilode Stop Gate completed. Gates and ground paddles of top gate at entrance lock repaired.
Proposals of Severn Catchment Board unlikely to affect Navigation.
Stonehouse Wharf House let to Mrs Poynter for £20 a year. Company bearing cost of inside repairs.
Notice given by County Council to discontinue use of offices at Wallbridge.
General Half Yearly Meeting. Tonnage, etc, since 1 January £369 9s 10d. After wages, etc, balance £355 10s 9d. No dividend declared.

Mr Hopson’s estimate, £11, for inside repair to Wharf House at Stonehouse. accepted.
About nine planks required renewing on Saul Bridge.
Outside beam, on Stroud side of Shallow Lock Bridge, in bad condition, needs renewing.
Clerk to inform Messrs Hobrough that his account, £9 17s 3d, for the Stop Gate at Framilode was excessive. Offer of £8 in settlement.
Tenancy of Stonehouse Wharf House transferred to Mr Palmer. Mr Hopson had completed inside repairs. Outside painted by direct labour.
Clerk to see Mr Baker as to taking remainder of Stonehouse Wharf.
Beam on Stroud side of Shallow Lock Bridge (Occupation Bridge) being replaced.

Temporary repair carried out on Gas Works Bridge. Estimates from Messrs Daniels for fabric of new iron bridge. Four ton bridge £175, eight ton £200, twelve ton £225. Cost of replacing present bridge by one to bear similar load £449 5s. Stroud Gas Co’s share £224 12s 6d. If Gas Company require bridge to sustain load of 10 or 12 tons extra cost £249 12s 6d and £274 12 6d.
Mr Wathen complained of smoke escaping to his living room from flue of house next door to his property at Framilode.
In view of notice given by Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, Clerk to inspect map of West Gloucestershire Internal Drainage Board in Shire Hall, Gloucester
Duplicate memorandum signed on behalf of County Council re corner of garden of canal needed for widening at Wallbridge.
Estimates for Gas Works Bridge sent to Gas Co. Manager would advise a stronger bridge and would enquire if his company would pay extra for overtime.
Defective flue at Mr Wathen’s cottage at Framilode repaired.
West Gloucester Drainage Scheme referred to land to west of Gloucester.
