A letter from Captain Nicholls of the Gloucester & Berkeley Canal Company proposing a meeting to confer on the Bill to be introduced by them in the next session of parliament: Joseph Grazebrook, John Snowden, Dr Darke and Paul Hawkins Fisher to meet them on Wednesday next at the George Inn, Stroud.

Joseph Grazebrook Esquire attended on behalf of Thomas Bowles of Milton Hill, Berkshire, and The Reverend Jeramiah Smith of Kingstanley Gloucestershire, Executors named and appointed inand by the Last Will and Testament of The Reverend Edward Mansfield, Vicar of Bisley deceased, bearing date the twenty third day of June 1824, and produced the probate of the said Will (22nd September 1826) and claimed the Share No 149 in the Stroudwater Navigation for the said Thomas Bowles and Jeramiah Smith as such Executors as aforesaid, and their claim is hereby admitted.
Joseph Grazebrook Esqr appeared on behalf of Frances Edwards of Hoddeson, Herts, and made claim for Her to one Share (No 199) in the Stroudwater Navigation as the property of the said Frances Edwards, by producing an extract from the Registry of the Perogative Court of Canterbury being a Copy of a Codicil of the last Will and Testament of William Chapman (in whose name the said Share stands) which Codicil is dated the 21st day of October 1826 & was duly proved in the said Court the 6th day of December 1826.
